Week 1 (Nov 17th)
- Registration / Check in
- Warm-up
- Passing & Ball Control
- Setting / Reacting to ball movement
- Proper serving technique (underhand and/or overhand)
- Hitting (proper approach, snapping, and extending)
- Scrimmage (open play)
Week 2 (Dec 1st)
- Warm-up
- Defense (explanation of different defense positions)
- Diving Drills
- Setting (set to target and week 1 review)
- Hitting (Review week 1, develop hit direction of the ball with defenders)
- Blocking fundamentals
- Serving (underhand, overhand, introduction to Jump Serve)
- Students will play 6 on 6 games with a referee
- Scrimmage (open play)
Week 3 (Dec 8th)
- Emphasis on Digging & Attacking
- Warm-up
- Bumping & Digging
- Defensive from the front row
- Attacking drills (setting will be incorporated as well as defense)
- Blocking review from Day 3
- Serving
- Scrimmage
Week 4-REVIEW (Dec 15th)
The last day serves as a comprehensive review of all the skills learned from the past 7-weeks into all drills.
